RTA Briefs Dubai Quality Group on Benchmarking of Corporate Performance Indicator

The Development & Corporate Performance Department at the Strategy and Corporate Governance Sector of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) received a delegation from the Dubai Quality Group .

The visit aimed at briefing the delegation on the benchmarking of the implemented practices in the RTA’s Corporate Performance Department, the (ADAA) management performance system that includes all performance indicators for each department at the Authority, in addition to the strategic plans and the mechanisms of setting goals and monitoring their implementation.

Ms. Sheikha Al Jarmen, Director of Development and Corporate Performance at the Authority said: the visit consisted of a number of key perspectives presented through visual presentations delivered by the Department’s team that addressed the organizational structure of the RTA, the Development and Corporate Performance Department, tasks and sections of the Department as well as the contents of the Performance Management System (ADAA).

 

She stressed that the Roads and Transport Authority is considered one of the main partners in theDubai Quality Group and effectively contributes to the upgrade of corporate performance. She added: our plan drives us to enhance the role of the Authority as an establishment that continuously seeks to achieve quality in all its services, and that the delegation’s visit is within the framework of cooperation efforts to achieve the greatest level of mutual benefit with our partners through the available expertise of all members of the Group.

She added: The delegation consists of 20 members of Dubai Quality Group which was established in 1994 by the Dubai Department of Economic Development under the generous patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, in order to implement initiatives that seek to improve the business environment in the state, the members work in the various bodies and departments, namely: Department of Land and Property, Hamdan bin Rashid Award for Academic Excellence, Dubai Aviation Authority, Emirates Transport, Ministry of Culture, TECOM Investments, EMPOWER Foundation, where a rich and vital debate took place on institutional performance indicators and elements of its promotion to the highest international standards, which helps to drive the economic growth of the state, and dissemination of culture and concepts of excellence, especially that the Emirate of Dubai has become a global hub in the field of benchmarking.
