The Roads and Transport Authority has announced the working timings for delivering various services during the New Hijri Year’s holiday (1st Muharram 1436H), covering paid parking, vehicle testing and registration centers, but without impacting any changes on the timing of public buses, metro or marine transit modes during the holiday.
Yousef Al Reda, CEO of RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services, said: “All parking spaces in Dubai Emirate will be free of charge during the New Hijri Year’s holiday (1st of Muharram 1436H) except for the Fish Market parking lot and the multi-level parking terminals, such that the fees system will be resumed on the following day (2nd of Muharram). As for vehicle testing and registration centers, services will cease during the holiday and resume on the following day.
These include Tamam & Wasel Testing Centers (Arabi Center and Jaddaf), ENOC (Tasjeel: Qusais, Barsha, Jebel Ali, Warsan, Tawar, Hatta, Head Office), Shamil Vehicle Testing Center (Head Office, Muhaisna, Al Aadid, Nad Al Hamar), Mumayaz Vehicle Testing Center (Mizhar Aswaq, Barsha Mall), Shirawi Vehicle Testing Center, Cars, and Quick Vehicle Testing Center. Centers working round-the-clock will also be off during the holiday namely ENOC Tasjeel at Al Tawar, Al Barsha, Quick Vehicle Testing Center, and Wasel Vehicle Testing Center (Jaddaf). More info
