Dubai: A minor accident between a car and a tram has been reported in the JBR area. The accident took place around 8.30pm on Wednesday, December 17 and no casualties were reported.
However, services resumed within 15 minutes of the accident. The Road and Transport’s (RTA) Twitter account has assured passengers that no major damage has taken place and people must take care while crossing a red light at an intersection.
The fine incurred for causing damage to a tram is Dh 5,000. More info
