While thousands of vehicles pass the roads surrounding Safa Park on a daily basis, in the centre of this area work is ongoing to create the Dubai Canal.
The surface has now come one step closer to being a waterway.
With stonework forming the perimetres of this Canal, another leap in the transformation was made.
The part of Dubai Canal that runs through Safa Park is at its most mature stage of completion.
This part is easiest to realise, as it does not involve the diversion of traffic or evacuation of residents, officials on the site explained earlier to Emirates 24|7. More info and videos
