It will be the 7th Creek crossing, if the replacement of Al Shindaga Tunnel with a bridge is indeed in the pipeline.

2Although it is not yet official, plans of the construction of Al Shindaga Bridge have been looming for a while, and so have tenders assigning the potential project.

Last month, a new tender was seen, giving away some details of what is on the agenda.

According to this tender, which was published on November 9, the bridge should be 300 metres long and 22 meres wide, while it has an underpass that is 15 metres high.

The tender invites for the design and construction of the bridge.

When asked, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) neither denied nor confirmed the news, stating that an announcement regarding this would soon be released. More info
