Dubai: The Emirates Towers Metro and the Financial Centre stations are located a stone’s throw from each other on Shaikh Zayed Road.

They are surrounded by skyscrapers on both sides of Dubai’s busiest road and the financial hub. Commuters using the Emirates Towers Station will have easy access to the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel and the Emirates Business Tower – identical towers built next to each other.

Visitors to the high-end shopping centre The Boulevard in Emirates Towers may also use this station without any hassle of driving their cars and hailing taxis because it is just a five minute-walk from the station.

These two stations cover the most lively and crowded part of Shaikh Zayed Road between the Dubai World Trade Centre roundabout and the First Interchange.

In addition to residential and commercial towers, there are dozens of four and five stars hotels on both sides of this 3.5km stretch of the road.

Employees and visitors to the Gate District and the Gate Village in the DIFC may use the Emirates Towers Stations while those intending to visit other areas of the DIFC including the Emirates Financial Tower and the Diamond Gate Office Towers may use the Financial Centre Metro Station, which is located right next to the Angsana Hotel and Suite building. This station also provides easy access to the etisalat office.

Commuters using the Metro to visit DIFC can save money on parking, which costs Dh10 per hour in the DIFC building while the roadside parking slots are also included in the paid parking zones of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority.

Using these stations will be ideal option for the metro commuters as they will have easy access to countless number of famous restaurants, clubs, banks, and premier shopping outlets on either side of the road.

Residents of Satwa – a thickly populated community on the northwest side of Shaikh Zayed Road – can also take the Metro through these stations as public transport buses will be running feeder services.
