Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, says that he will travel on the Metro and that the biggest challenge following its launch on 9.9. 2009 is to persuade people of the UAE to use it.
Shaikh Mohammad’s comments came in a special Metro launch video posted Wednesday on his Facebook page.
“I am very very happy. It is something like a great occasion. It is like flying the first Emirates [flight]. Dubai is Dubai – it is something great to come and open metro in the Middle East”, Shaikh Mohammad added.
