TECOM Group, part of Dubai Holding, and Dubai Creative Clusters Authority have announced plans to set up the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI).
Plans for the development of DIDI in collaboration with MIT and Parsons were announced at an event hosted in the Dubai Design District (d3).
The campus will be spread over 100,000 square feet in the Creative Community at d3 and will have the capacity to accommodate 550 students.
DIDI will be accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, and will cost AED270 million ($73.5 million) to develop. The first intake of students at DIDI is planned for autumn 2018. More info
