Flights at Dubai International Airport were temporarily grounded on Friday morning due to suspected drone activity.
A spokesperson confirmed that flight departures at Dubai Airports were suspended between 10.13 am and 10.45am local time due to suspected drone activity.
Dubai Airports has worked closely with the appropriate authorities to ensure that the safety of airport operations is maintained at all times and to minimise any inconvenience to our customers, the spokesperson said.
An Emirates spokesperson confirmed that the departure of some of its flights was delayed due to suspected drone activity at Dubai International (DXB) on February 15. The airline also apologised for any inconvenience caused to its customers. More
