Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Emirates NBD, the largest bank in Dubai, and Visa International yesterday launched a co-branded credit card that combines features of a Visa Credit card and RTA Nol card, which is used for public transport travel in Dubai.
The new ‘Go4it’ credit card comes with Nol transit application, used for making payments on the RTA transit network and at parking meters. The credit card is linked to Nol and Salik accounts and can be configured to automatically top up these accounts when the funds fall below certain levels.
“The multi-functional co-branded Go4it card is in line with our joint focus on customer convenience, and has been specially designed to incorporate a variety of benefits and advantages, while meeting the needs of regular users of Dubai’s public transport systems,” said Rick Pudner, Chief Executive Officer, Emirates NBD.
The card comes in gold and platinum categories and carries annual fees of Dh99 and Dh199 respectively.
The new credit card comes with complimentary life insurance cover of up to Dh100,000 and a complimentary travel accident and inconvenience insurance up to Dh1 million.
