The building, where the Dh7.34-billion Dubai Canal will take a turn after moving through Sheikh Zayed Road (SZR) and move on to replace Safa Park, will soon be demolished, Emirates 24|7 can reveal.
The building, housing Kodak (Near East) Inc, is the first property on the stretch next to Safa Park to be demolished.
“We will commence demolition of the building in couple of weeks’ time. The work will be completed in 60 days,” a spokesperson for Newtech Building Demolition Company told this website.
“This is the spot from where the Dubai Canal will take a turn and move on to Safa Park,” he added. More info
