The $5.9 million Dubai Crocodile Park project is now 43 percent complete, and is scheduled to open by the end of next year, it has been announced.
The opening date has been delayed to allow more time to prepare the site, said Juma Al Fuqae, director of Property Management Department and vice chairman of the Investment Committee at Dubai Municipality in comments published by news agency WAM.
Reports in August had suggested the park, located near Mushrif Park, may open by the end of this year.
Al Fuqae said the opening has been extended to allow more time for preparations to be completed in full at the venue which is being set up on the lines of crocodile parks in France, and is said to be the first of its kind in the Middle East. More info
