Delegates have been charged $3,000 (Dh11,019) to attend a conference on plans for the World Expo 2020, just eight weeks after Dubai successful bid to host the event.
Destination Dubai 2020 is a two-day conference which claims to “showcase the myriad of opportunities that are arising from Dubai winning the mandate to host World Expo 2020” and will offer those paying to attend the chance to “learn about the $120bn worth of project opportunities in Dubai as a result of the Expo 2020.” More info
