Al Yalayes Road was temporarily shut on Monday as the road was waterlogged.
On Tuesday morning, RTA posted an update that the dewatering work is still underway on Al Yalayes Road.
According to the tweet posted on their official Twitter handle, motorists should avoid driving along Al Yalayes Road coming from Emirates Road.
The Roads and Transport Authority asked motorists to use alternative roads including Emirates Road, Mohamed bin Zayed Road, or Expo Road.
Concerned authorities are working to pump the water out of the road and re-open it.
