At Dubai International Airport arrival terminals and selected shopping malls, visitors were greeted by volunteers as part of Dhiyafat Al Eid, a traditional activity aimed at showcasing Emirati culture and hospitality.

Dhiyafat Al Eid is co-organised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammad Heritage Centre and the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), as part of the line-up of events and activities during the on-going Eid in Dubai–Eid Al Adha celebrations from October 10-19.

Organised by DFRE for the sixth year, the celebrations are aimed to further enhance the emirate’s position as the destination of choice for families and tourists during the special occasion of Eid Al Adha.
