H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, today officially inaugurated the eleventh edition of Cityscape Global, the Middle East’s largest international real estate event.

The first day of the show saw the Meydan Group showcase two new mega-projects in Dubai, the Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid community development, as well as the Meydan Tower project.

Upon cutting the ribbon, HH Sheikh Maktoum toured the exhibition halls, stopping by several major international developers’ stands, including Barwa Real Estate, the Qatari-based developer behind some of the Gulf country’s mega developments.

These include Barwa City, the 1.35 million square metre mixed-use development, and the $1.9bn Barwa Commercial Avenue. It recently launched the 3.6 million square metre Lusail Golf Residential Development.

International exhibitors include Turkey’s Agaoglu, which launched Agaoglu Maslak 1453, an Istanbul project comprising 4,700 residences along with large public squares, theatres, an international fashion centre, a 1,453m-long shopping avenue and a neighbouring forest. More info
