Emaar has launched its new “Dubai Trolley” tram system in Downtown Dubai. Covering a distance of 7km, Dubai Trolley will serve as a link between the various iconic attractions in Downtown Dubai including Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and The Dubai Mall, the world’s most-visited retail and lifestyle destination.
Aligned along Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, the first phase of Dubai Trolley will cover a distance of 1 km and will have three stations to offer passengers easy access to The Dubai Mall, and The Address Downtown Dubai and Vida Downtown Dubai hotels. The first phase is scheduled for completion early next year.
With The Dubai Mall welcoming millions of visitors every month and Downtown Dubai’s hotels recording strong occupancy levels, Dubai Trolley will add to the convenience of residents and visitors in traversing the 500-acre development described as ‘The Centre of Now.’ More info
