Emirates Airline said on Tuesday it expects high passenger traffic on its flights this weekend as travellers head abroad for spring and holiday breaks.

2The carrier said in a statement that more than 115,000 travellers will be passing through Emirates Terminal 3 this weekend, with consistently high passenger loads from Dubai also expected on March 27 and 28.

Emirates reminded customers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before flight departure, and plan extra time to get to the airport to avoid delays.

To make the customer journey more seamless, Emirates said it has extended its online check-in to 48 hours before departure, a full day early than 24 hours previously. More info
