DUBAI // A weekly farmers’ market will resume next month at Zabeel Park.
The organic food, vegetable and crafts market, originally located in Safa Park, will begin on Friday, October 10, according to Ripe Food & Crafts Markets.
Fare available from local vendors will include honey, cheese, nuts, spices, olive oil and beauty products.
About 150 vendors, including artisans, designers and musicians, will be present. In addition, visitors have their pick from live music and yoga workshops to a petting zoo and pony rides for children.
Similar food and crafts markets in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, also organised by Ripe, offer produce grown by local farmers. More info
