The operating company for the Dubai Metro has completed experimental tests of the Green Line – the moving test without passengers. The line will be inaugurated in September.
This phase includes testing on multiple systems, where it has been subjecting engines, brakes, load, electrical systems, and electromagnetic compatibility to tests.
A source in the company said, “The company has completed interiors in the Metro stations and more than 80 per cent of parking in Al Qusais, with a capacity of 2,700 vehicles.”
The moving test is considered the second and final phase.
The Green Line of Dubai Metro extends along 23 kilometers and includes 18 stations.
