Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park destination in the Middle East with totoal investments exceeding AED 13 billion.
The project is a joint venture between Meraas Holding and DXB Entertainments PJSC.
His Highness has asserted that the United Arab Emirates has become a global forerunner in the leisure and entertainment industry, given the vast number of large-scale projects developed in the country.
Sheikh Mohammed also highlighted Dubai’s great efforts in reinforcing its position on the world tourism map and providing a wide range of touristic attractions that appeal to families, thus encouraging family tourism, which is one of the key pillars and goals of Dubai’s Tourism Vision for 2020.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and the esteemed delegation toured the development and visited Legoland Dubai, which will feature over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 LEGO model structures made from over 60 million LEGO bricks. His Highness also previewed Riverland Dubai, which will connect the three theme parks and water park at Dubai Parks and Resorts, and will be open to everyone with or without a ticket to the adjoining parks, and will feature a range of restaurants and retail shops, coupled with planned street entertainment, making it the perfect place for families and friends to come together, relax and recharge.
