A consortium led by US engineering consultancy Parsons has secured a Euro 425m ($562m) deal to project manage three of the six lines being built under the $23.5bn Riyadh Metro project.
The consortium, which also includes French consultancies Systra and Egis Rail, will oversee the Bechtel-led consortium delivering the $10bn package for lines 1 and 2, as well as the BACS consortium building Line 3 that includes Ansaldo, Salini Impregilo and Bombardier. More info
