Dubai: Forecasters have advised residents with respiratory ailments to take precautions, especially those living in the northern and eastern parts of the country, as dusty conditions will prevail over the next three days.

“The country is under the influence of northeasterly and northwesterly wind — fresh to strong at times in the northern and eastern parts of the UAE.

Ras Al Khaimah and neighbouring areas will experience dusty conditions on Wednesday and Thursday. This instability in weather will be limited to coastal areas and over the islands where a low pressure exists,” a forecaster from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) told Gulf News.

The forecaster also warned that the northern parts of the Arabian Gulf extending until Dubai and the Oman Sea will be rough to very rough with offshore waves reaching 7 feet to 10 feet in height from Wednesday to Friday. More info
