Those who ride their cycles along roads with speed limits greater than 60 km/h will be fined up to Dh500.Â
The Roads and Transport Authority issued the reminder on Monday.
Riding your cycle in an undesignated lane will face a Dh300 fine.
Those who ride their bicycles in such a way that puts the rider or other people’s lives at risk will be fined Dh300 as well.
The longest bike lane in Dubai reaches nearly 250km.
The RTA is looking into making an additional 310 kilometres of bike lanes in Dubai by the year 2022. More
