Riyadh authorities have shortlisted 38 groups as qualified initial bidders for a a metro project that will link major parts of the capital city, according to Bloomberg.
City planners are expected to invite the companies to submit their bids for the 175km electrical rail link that will connect the airport with other parts of the city, including the new King Abdullah Financial Centre, the ArRiyadh Development Authority said on its website.
Riyadh Governor Prince Sattam, who also chairs the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh (HCDA), has issued a directive “to complete the qualification procedures and other formalities quickly.”
