Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is introducing the upcoming Dubai Tram to mall visitors by offering them a virtual tour of the tram. Dubai Tram will be launched on November 11.
Moaza Saeed Al Marri, Director of RTA Marketing and Corporate Communication, said, “Dubai Tram is a new valuable addition to the array of mass transit systems in the emirate.”
The all-new experience of the virtual tram evoked a huge response from families when displayed at Mirdif City Centre where visitors were treated to a semi-realistic experience of boarding and travelling aboard the tram and touring various stations. “This prompted us to replicate the experience in The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates. The simulator will be on display at Ghubaiba Metro station during the events of the Public Transport Day today so that everyone can have an idea about this transit mode which has come to suffice the needs of public transport users,” she said.
