RTA announces public transport timings for Eid

DUBAI: With the advent of Eid Al Adha, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced revised timings of services during Eid holiday.

Metro: From Eid’s first day up to Thursday (Nov.10), Metro stations will receive commuters from 5.50am up to 1am, and on Friday from 1pm up to 1am.

Public buses (Dubai): Public transport stations, including main stations (such as Gold Souk, Al Ghubaiba 1 & 2 and Satwa) will start service from 6am and continue up to 12 midnight throughout the week. Sub-stations (such as Al Qusais, and Al Quoz Industrial) will start services from 6am and continue up to 12 midnight. As for Jebel Ali Station, the service will start from 6am and continue through 10pm.

Dubai Metro stations feeder bus service at Hor Al Anz, Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, and Burj Khalifa stations will start services from 6am and continue up to 1am.

Inter-city buses: The main stations (such as Al Ghubaiba and Sharjah), will offer services around the clock, while sub-stations (such as Sabkha and Abu Dhabi), services will start from 6am and continue up to 12 midnight. As for Hatta, Fujairah, Ajman, Karama & City Centre Stations, services will start from 6am and continue up to 10pm. Dubai Metro feeder bus stations at the Union Square will start service from 6am and continue to 12 midnight.

Marine transport: The water bus will start services from 7am and continue up to 11pm, water taxi services will start from 10am and continue up to 10pm, and Ferry Dubai will start services from 10am and continue up to 10pm.
