The Community Initiatives Team, at the Corporate Technical Support Services Sector, Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), has recently held an awareness workshop about ‘Flashes of Thought’ book targeting about 30 Primary Stage girl students affiliated to the Women Renaissance Society (Adults Education Council) who were offered a sea cruise aboard Dubai Ferry.
“The Community Initiatives Team, RTA Corporate Technical Support Services Sector, is always keen on holding a series of educative initiatives & events involving various external bodies in a bid to instill positive values and concepts to improve their performance, besides familiarizing them with the diverse cast of RTA public and marine transit services,” commented Abdulla Al Madani, CEO of RTA Corporate Technical Support Services Sector.
He added: “The Initiatives Team was keen on holding this workshop to host girls studying at the Women Renaissance Society in order to communicate to them the noble values and rich thoughts of HH the Ruler of Dubai as well as his shrewd vision as regards bringing happiness & welfare to community members in general and employees in particular. The book also discusses how to embed persistence & resolution to excel, and redouble our efforts for the benefit of ourselves and our community as well. The workshop focused on Women Empowerment chapter where HH narrated several quotes highlighting women importance in the community, such as: Great women at home are great women at work as well. The woman who can bring up great leaders is also a great leader in her own right.”
The CEO of RTA Corporate Technical Support Services Sector further added: “The book is considered a valuable informational encyclopedia containing a variety of practices set by HH which have to be communicated and educated to all generations. Moreover, the book combines intellects & creativity, and narrates ideas and views capable of boosting the culture of leadership and sound management, and stresses the need to implement them in order to attain the highest levels of excellence and creativity at work.”
It is note-worthy that the awareness workshop included quizzes about the diverse RTA services, and gifts were distributed to students. More info
