DUBAI – As part of its plan to introduce traffic safety awareness in school curriculum, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in association with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Interior, will launch today a dedicated traffic track at Al Aqsa School.
The miniature layout featuring all the elements of real traffic situations would help students understand dangers and safety aspects of roads.
The event would be attended and hosted by top RTA officials, who will take the students through various fun activities that would deliver traffic awareness 
messages. The layout would be open for students from surrounding schools as well and would be a permanent feature of their extra-curricular activities.
The RTA plans to construct similar educational sites in several others schools and studies are currently being carried out for the same purpose.
