RTA offers vacancies in 15th Careers UAE

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is taking part in the 15th Careers UAE starting t Tuesday 28 April 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) featuring participation of considerable numbers of entities and businesses across the UAE.

Through this participation, the RTA is aiming to step up the Emiratization process by attracting & recruiting young graduates.

Ms. Kawther Kazim, Director of Human Resources and Development, RTA Corporate Support Services Sector, said: “We are keen on participating in this annual showpiece to enhance its Emiratization strategy, especially as the event attracts considerable numbers of fresh male and female graduates as well as Emirati leaders & administrators in various fields. RTA’s stand in the Exhibition would offer a host of vacancies in engineering, financial, investment, internal audit, administrative posts, information systems, quality, health, safety &  environment, strategic planning in addition to a number of operational posts.

“Instant interviews would be conducted for applicants by respective directors during the exhibition period to speed up the employment process. The RTA currently adopts “Edaad” program; a program for qualifying & training a group of Emirati graduates and grooming them for taking jobs at the RTA with the aim of providing well trained Emiratis capable of driving our sustainable development. This two-year program provides a host of additional benefits such as a specialist practical training, in addition to rewards and bonuses for excellent-performing students,” said Kazim

“Emiratization of leading posts in the RTA is as high as 98% and the percentage of Emiratized jobs has reached 83%. The RTA is always keen on chalking out strategic plans to entice qualified Emiratis in various capacities whether through career shows or other recruitment sources within the perimeters set by our prudent government and its noble objectives in this field,” said the Director of Human Resources and Development.
