The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is sponsoring the 7th Emirates Airline Festival of Literature (3-7 March 2015) featuring wide participation of writers, artists and poets from both sexes hailing from all over the globe.
“RTA’s sponsoring of Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is part of its community-oriented activities aimed at supporting innovative abilities at all levels including artist and cultural events,” said Ms. Moaza Al Marri, Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication at the RTA. She further added that RTA would also be sponsoring a series of lectures to empower women in concurrence with festivities marking the International Women Day corresponding to March 8th.
“RTA sponsorship (Official Transporter) is reflected in providing transit services through deploying a number of buses to lift participants and the public from and to the venue of the event. RTA’s involvement with this international showpiece is also in line with its drive to support artist, cultural and women contributions, particularly those attributed to RTA’s female staff taking part in the event as part of the Focus Groups,” she noted.
“RTA’s participation in the seventh edition of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is a continuation and manifestation of its social responsibility and support of relevant activities and events. It also spotlights the efforts of Emirati authors taking part in the festival, and adds to the civilized communication between various communities through an artistic language expressed in cultural & poetic works from all over the globe,” she continued.
“The RTA is committed to make every possible effort towards leveraging activities, artist events and festivals in Dubai through supporting events that play a vital role in establishing communication with various international cultures, and grooming national talents & skills.
“The purpose and objectives of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature fits well with the vision of the RTA aimed at enhancing the profile of Dubai as a universal hub for creativity and innovation capable of attracting celebrities to share creative ideas, leveraging cultural interaction in general,” concluded the Director of RTA Marketing and Corporate Communication.
