The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication Department at Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Peyman Younes Parham stated that the Department is making keen efforts to boost the communication links and open up joint communication channels to benefit from the mutual expertise of various organizations across the UAE.
Peyman made these remarks during a reception, by Hind Al Tajir, Deputy Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication Dep’t, of a delegation from Ajman Chamber of Commerce & Industry headed by Eman Al Shamsi, Director of Corporate Communication Dep’t at Ajman Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in the presence of several Section Managers from both parties. During the meeting the two parties discussed cooperation and means of exchanging expertise between them.
“We, at Marketing and Corporate Communication Department which is a key frontline of the RTA, are keen on strengthening the cooperative relations with all local and federal entities of various community segments. We are also thrilled to receive all visiting bodies here at their second workplace, and this is what we felt from the visit of the delegation of Ajman Chamber of Commerce & Industry” said Peyman.
The meeting discussed the mutual cooperation in the field of corporate media and its leading role in providing exposure for government and local authorities, agencies and departments to various media outlets such as television & radio channels, newspapers and periodicals. The meeting also discussed the mechanism of joint collective work under the umbrella of modern media management which encompasses under one roof the media, press, marketing, promotion, advertisements, public relations and events.
During the meeting, the Department made a visual presentation to the visiting delegation highlighting the current and future projects serving all RTA Agencies, and reviewed the respective tasks assigned to each Department under Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector. The delegation was familiarized with the key RTA achievements, along with the events and activities carried out by RTA Marketing and Corporate Communication Department.
For her part Eman Al Shamsi, Director of Corporate Communication at Ajman Chamber of Commerce & Industry, expressed deep thanks and gratitude for the warm and friendly reception accorded by RTA Marketing & Corporate Communication Department. “The visit was all success as it enabled us access to useful information on the concept and the role of media in educating and enlightening others”, she commented.
