Dubai: Nol cards which are mandatory to use all modes of public transport including Dubai Metro and public buses in Dubai are now available at petrol stations in the emirate.
“The new steps has been taken to ensure that Nol cards are easily available to public transport passengers across the emirate,” said CEO of Corporate Technical Support Services Sector at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
The Nol cards were earlier sold only at the Metro stations, bus stations and vending machines at the bus stops.
The RTA has signed an agreement with Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) to sell Nol cards at 90 ENOC and EPPCO stations as well as Zoon Conviences Stores at the metro stations.
“RTA always seeks to broaden the channels and outlets for distributing its products and services in cooperation with several government and semi-government bodies as well as private organisations to meet the growing demand for RTA services by public transport users in Dubai,” said Al Madani.
