Yesterday, the Samsung Galaxy S4 went on sale in Dubai, and by the looks of it, Samsung Gulf Electronics already owns bragging rights for declaring the smartphone “hot-selling”.
The Samsug Galaxy S4 3G is priced at Dh2,599 in the UAE, and the smartphone is already a big hit among customers in Dubai.
There was a mob, and we’re not kidding, that had been assembling outside the Samsung store from as early as 6.30am to snap the latest device from Samsung on Saturday, April 27, when the smartphone went on sale for general public.
The mall – and the store – doesn’t open until 10am. But that didn’t seem to deter the 100 to 150 or so eager beavers that were seen jostling for a chance to lay their hands on the new smartphone and be one of the first ones in Dubai – and the world – to own it.
When Emirates 24|7 visited the store at around 10.30am, we witnessed heated arguments between impatient fans and the store management that was clearly trying its best to organise the customers and dole out the Galaxy S4 as soon as they possibly could. More info and VIDEO
