The ruler of Dubai plans to build a super car park in London to house his personal fleet of luxury cars.
Sheikh Mohammed is planning to build the car park next to Battersea heliport by the River Thames, so that he and his family can arrive in the capital by helicopter and board whichever vehicle they wish.
According to a report in the UK’s Daily Mail, Wandsworth Council in south-west London has granted planning permission for the estimated $30 million (£20m) scheme, which would provide space for 114 cars, as well as offices, bathrooms and five-star accommodation for staff.
The super car park will have two basement floors and six above ground. More info
