The Dubai Mall is adding a new attraction to it’s already busy ice rink, with the introduction of ‘Dubai Snowfall.’ Yes you guessed correctly – they are going to make it snow right here in the desert three times a week.
So grab you winter woolies and head down to Dubai Mall’s ice rink to experience the cities first authentic “winter skating experience.” With sessions taking place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, there will be snow and also a DJ to keep you grooving whilst you skate.
This is not the only winter-themed attraction in Dubai, as the city also hosts the world’s largest indoor ski slope at ‘Ski Dubai’ inside the Mall Of The Emirates. Here you can ski, snowboard and build snowmen.
Plans on the horizon will see two new snow-parks open in the UAE in the near future. One at the new Meydan One complex, as well as the forthcoming Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi.
The cost to experience the snow at Dubai Ice Rink will be 100 AED per person with the snowfall at the following times:
- Tuesday: 6:15pm – 8pm
- Thursday: 8:15pm – 10pm
- Saturday: 2:30pm – 4:15pm
