RTA to accelerate construction of Al Sufouh Tram project
The Roads '&' Transport Authority (RTA) is set to accelerate the construction pace of Al Sufouh Tram project, where completion rate of the construction works has now exceeded 30% and the construction company is currently engaged in completing the supporting infrastructure of the project.

The Roads and Transport Authority has held talks with contractor, the Alstom-Besix Consortium, and has asked it to "step up the tempo" on the project, Al Tayer, the RTA's chairman and executive director said in a statement on Saturday.
