Abu Dhabi to build $2bn main roads to Dubai & KSA
The 327km Mafraq - Ghweifat main road, expected to be accomplished by 2017, extends from Mafraq to the international border linking the UAE with KSA in Ghweifat. It also passes through the Industrial Centre in Ruwais and some tourist and commercial locations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi plans three metro lines
The Department of Transport (DoT) is recommending a new public transport network, including metro rail lines in the city of Abu Dhabi, an official told Khaleej Times.
