The Public Transport Agency - Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has recently inaugurated 9 new internal bus routes within Dubai Emirate in addition to one inter-city service shuttling between Dubai and Abu Dhabi to boost the bus transit network and keep up with the rising demand for mass transit means in general and public buses in particular.
Dubai public bus routes changed
Mohammad Al Hashemi Director of Business Development at the RTA's Public Transport Agency, said: "The route changes introduced, whether being addition, modification or termination of some routes, come in the context of offering passengers better, efficient and comfortable services well integrated with various public transport modes."

“Public Transport Agency also decided to merge Route (F4), starting off Al Rashidiya Metro Station, passing through Mirdiff City Center and Mirdiff East, with Route (F3) starting off Al Rashidiya Metro Station, passing through Mirdiff West, and Route (F10) starting off Al Rashidiya Metro Station, passing through Al Warqa 3 and Mirdiff City Center,” said Al Janahi.
Public Transport Agency reshuffles several bus routes
On Sept 10th, the Public Transport Agency, Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) will modify the path of the Dubai Metro Stations Feeder Route (F31) to start off Dubai Internet City metro station, instead of Mall of the Emirates metro station, to cover TECOM Greens and Meadows Residential districts in addition to other districts in Dubai Emirate.
