The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), Roads and Transports Authority (RTA) has offered prepaid vouchers to customers, be it public or private institutions, of 10, 20, 25, 30 and 50 dirham each, in a bid to streamline services rendered to customers and introduce new methods in serving the public.
Dubai taxi users urged to take care of their belongings
As the number of complaints about lost items in taxis increases, the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) operated by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has urged passengers to take better care of their belongings. In case of a lost item in taxis, customers are urged to register a complaint through the call centre (8009090), DTC website (www.dubaitaxi.ae), or RTA website (www.rta.ae).
Dubai Taxi briefs strategic partners on standards of Best Partner Award
The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), has recently held its semi-annual Strategic Partners Gathering 2012 comprising representatives of public and private agencies. Dubai Taxi to boost drivers satisfaction
In a ceremony bringing together employees and cabdrivers of the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), the CEO of the DTC Yousef Al Ali has recently opened a new restaurant for cabbies built within the compounds of the DTC in cooperation with Fairway Co. The step is taken as part of a series of initiatives undertaken by the DTC in a bid to raise the satisfaction of cabdrivers in keeping with its strategic vision of “Pioneers in Passenger Transport Services”.
Greater efficiency helps Dubai Taxi boost revenue
The total revenue of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)-run Dubai Taxi crossed Dh1 billion in 2011, with more than 125 million passengers hiring cab services to make 62.36 million trips. This is in addition to revenues of privately owned taxi companies.
'63% of crash victims in Dubai are kids'
Children in Dubai are three times more involved in traffic accidents than at the global level, a local report revealed. The report released by the Dubai Health Authority indicates that 63 per cent of crash victims in Dubai are children, which is three times the prevailing international rate of 22.3 per cent.
