Next Dubai Expo 2020 phase design set to start
The 438-hectare Dubai Trade Centre-Jebel Ali host venue is being designed to create a spectacular showcase befitting the tradition of world expos that leave behind an iconic architectural legacy, the Dubai Expo 2020 Office said in a statement on Wednesday.

A 2020 World Expo in Dubai would also coincide with the UAE's Golden Jubilee. In the 41 years since the country was founded it has established itself as a leader among the fast-emerging economies of the region; by the time it reaches its half-century, the UAE will have further cemented its position as a key trade and tourism hub linking East and West, and North and South.
