Dubai obtains $675m financing for Al Sufouh tramway project
Dubai The Dubai Department of Finance announced Wednesday that it has completed dual currency financing of $675 million (Dh2.48 billion) to complete phase 1 of the construction of the Al Sufouh Tram project. Earlier this month, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) awarded a 13-year maintenance contract for the Al Sufouh tramway to a consortium comprising Alstom and Cofely Besix Facility Management (FM).
RTA staff to be offered award scheme for research, education activities
The author of the best research will get a cheque of Dh20,000 along with a certificate of appreciation. The runner-up will walk away with prize money of Dh15,000 and a certificate and the third place will get Dh10,000 and a certificate of appreciation. Writers of the best 10 researches will be given Dh3,000 each.
