Danube Station opens its doors to Public from 12.12.12
The whole of UAE braced to witness the opening of Danube Metro Station earlier known as Jebel Ali Industrial Station on 12/12/12. Danube Group is the first private expatriate entity to have officially licensed an agreement with the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) securing naming rights under the second phase of the Dubai MetroNaming Rights Project.
Metro Green Line from August
Ninety per cent of the work on the Green Line of Dubai Metro has been completed and the second line of the rail network is on schedule to begin its journey from August, a senior RTA official said. At the moment, the work on the Green Line is going according to the plan, said Ramadan Abdullah, Director of Operations at RTA’s Rail Agency told Khaleej Times.
