Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has awarded a contract for Phase 4 and 5 of the Dubai Water Canal Project.

The abra services on Dubai Creek, as well as Dubai Ferry, the Waterbus, and the Water Taxi will not be deployed as long as the weather conditions remain unstable, a service representative of the RTA said.

The Public Transport Agency, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has beefed up its service offering in a number of stations of Dubai Ferry at the Dubai Marina by setting up Customer Service Kiosks in the marine transit stations of the Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, and the Marine Promenade. The Agency has also revised the operational timing of the Dubai Ferry to match the demand for this service.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) plans to open new marine transport stations in Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina shortly, according to a report in the ‘Al Ittihad’ newspaper.
