Dubai shopping malls urge visitors to dress modestly
Shopping malls in Dubai have once again urged people to abide by the dress code policy especially during Ramadan, as many visitors remain unaware of the cultural sensitivities of the country.

RTA offers 3-digit vehicle plates at discounted rates
From the start of the holy month of Ramadan, the Licensing Agency of the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) will offer 3-digit vehicle number plates of Codes such as G, F and K at a discounted and fixed rate of 130 thousand dirham per plate. The offer, which will be valid for a limited period starting from Friday, is made in the context of RTA efforts to attain customers’ satisfaction, besides meeting their aspirations and responding to their views & suggestions.
RTA educates metro riders to comply with regulations, avoid offences
The Rail Agency, Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), in cooperation with SERCO (Operator of Dubai Metro) has launched last month a campaign to educate the metro riders on all rules, regulations and proper practices applicable on board the metro carriages, and also benefit & entertain them during the transit time.

RTA extend Ramadan working hours of water bus and water taxi
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has extended the working hours of the Water Bus during the holy month of Ramadan from 08 am to 10 pm - instead of 07 am to 07 pm, and the working hours of the Water Taxi from 10 am to 12 am (midnight) - instead of 10 am to 10 pm, and the new working hours are being observed throughout the days of the week including Fridays, announced the CEO of RTA Public Transport Agency, Eisa Abdul-Rahman Al-Dosari.
RTA issues 957 offences to metro users
Rail Agency at Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has issued 957 offence tickets to metro users from the start of passenger service on 090909 up to mid of December of the same year across the ten stations on the Red Line.
