Dubai Metro station set to open at Jebel Ali Free Zone
The National has reported that the Dubai Metro’s Jebel Ali Free Zone station is set to open this friday (11 March). Chairman of the Board at RTA stated that the “Jebel Ali station is mainly intended to serve the Jebel Ali area and in particular the Free Zone and the Jebel Ali Port.”

Metro Green Line from August
Ninety per cent of the work on the Green Line of Dubai Metro has been completed and the second line of the rail network is on schedule to begin its journey from August, a senior RTA official said. At the moment, the work on the Green Line is going according to the plan, said Ramadan Abdullah, Director of Operations at RTA’s Rail Agency told Khaleej Times.
