Dubai Metro's Ramadan train schedule
During the month of Ramadan the frequency of trains servicing Dubai's Red and Green Line will be reduced, the Roads and Transport Authority has stated. Just like every year, we reduce the frequency of trains operating during Ramadan," said Ramadan Abdullah, director of the Rail Operations Department, RTA.
RTA offers inquiry about Dubai Metro schedule by SMS service
The Rail Agency, Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), has launches a new service for inquiring about the timing of the Dubai Metro services in different times through short text messages to be sent to 5223. The service is coordinated with the Public Transport Agency via the timetables of the Journey Planner (Wojhati); an exercise that saves much time and effort of customers, rendering the metro transit experience highly smooth & accessible.

Dubai to get 1,100 new taxis
Commuters in Dubai will soon benefit from a raft of new taxis after the emirate’s transport regulator agreed to purchase 1,100 new 2013 Toyota vehicles. The deal between Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) and dealership Al Futtaim Motors will see 930 Camry, 20 Hybrid Camry and 150 Innova cars enter Dubai’s taxi fleet.
