Accused denies groping woman on Dubai Metro escalator
An Indian worker is facing trial on charges of groping a woman on the escalator of one of the Dubai Metro stations.
The 40-year-old Indian woman told the court that the incident took place in March at the Jebel Ali Metro station.
Dubai Metro to run extra hours during Ramadan
All Red Line Metro trains will run from 5.30 in the morning till midnight from Saturday to Wednesday. Services will continue till 1 am on Thursdays. Fridays, however, will see services begin from 1 pm and end at 1 am.

Motorists in Dubai will be able to nominate another person to carry out the vehicle licensing process on their behalf from later this month, as a result of plans by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to launch a new electronic service.
Dubai Tram testing in its third phase
