The Roads and Transport Authority has announced the working timings for delivering various services during the New Hijri Year’s holiday (1st Muharram 1436H), covering paid parking, vehicle testing and registration centers, but without impacting any changes on the timing of public buses, metro or marine transit modes during the holiday.
Dubai's Jumeirah Village: Plenty of bus stops, but no buses

Light vehicle testing fee hiked to Dh120
Vehicle registration and testing would be dearer by Dh20 in Dubai in the next few days as the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has hiked the fees, while at the same time introducing new services. The decision has been taken after approval from Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
