UAE retail giant Majid Al Futtaim has continued its 2014 project announcement juggernaut after detailing plans for a 1 million square foot shopping mall in Dubai’s International Media Production Zone (IMPZ).
The project, first flagged last year as part of a broader AED3bn ($816m) investment plan for the emirate, will be built in phases, starting with the AED275m, 300,000 sqft first phase to be finished in 2015.
MAF Properties CEO George Kostas said on Monday the development, to be located near the intersection of Al Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road, underscored demand for “quality retail space” in Dubai. More info
